I raise cattle. I have cows having calves all the time, and buzzards are notorious for ganging up on a cow, and harrasing her. The whole time they are harrasing her, some of thier cohorts are killing the baby calve. They will also harras a cow so much that she will trample her calf on accident, becuase she is trying to protect it. >

As many cattle raisers on this board know, thats a waste of time, & money, and it really makes you mad. >

When i see a treetop full of buzzards, ill pop one just to let them know ive got an eye on them. and if i catch those birds harrasing a cow, ill unload on them with my SKS.

the same goes for stray dogs and coyotes. I dont care if the dog has a collar on. its owner should keep it on hisher own property. if anyone here objects, ill just bring you the dead calf that your dog mauled to death.
now you know!
