htt stage 3 ques

is this just the h1e cold side from a stock hle

I imagine it's a 60mm H1E compressor wheel and H1C or hx35 compressor housing. If you're wondering because you want to find a H1E and use its parts etc, there are probly a ton of different wheel/housing configurations found on various H1E's and HX40's. So you might end up with a smaller wheel 56mm, 58mm etc. Hard telling though. Then again if you have a good junkyard, grab the whole thing, see if you can spool that H1E . I was just looking at a nice hx55-18nwg today at the junkyard ..

Im not sure about the H1E.
about 3 years ago, HTT built me a hybrid. it seemed to me by the way the guy was talking that it was a really common mod.
They take an H1C and machine out the fresh air housing to take an HX40 compressor wheel. It has worked like a champ. I have seen up to 44 PSI boost. I live at 4600 elevation and it spools up quickly.
