Very minimal. 2/3 majority (veto override) While Bo Bo is in. Most likely 60 in senate after to stop a filibuster. There is a slight possibility that it will be considered unconstitutional by the supreme court.

There is also a slight possibility that a majority of states will pass laws against it. If that happens, the tax increases would have to be repealed.

Most of this will be impossible because the union have exclusion from the tax increases until 2018. Until the union members actually step up and take back or take out the union leaders the union will have a strangle hold. But I aint holding my breath for that one.

I DON'T think that this is a "slight possibility". There are a number of State DA's already gearing up to sue the Feds over the unConstitutional "mandatory" purchase issue.

Not everyone is ready to roll over and accept this 3rd world country garbage or to accept that the U.S. Constitution is NO longer the Law of the land!!

AND, of course, SCOTUS will have to get involved and rule on the "Constitutionality" of such legislation.

The only reason I say slight GM is because there are only a few states who are actively asserting their 10th amendment rights with BINDING resolutions and laws. We just passed on here. But I think there are only four or five state who have. But even if states do refuse it, those who don't fight it, may be subject to it. Point is, if it is passed, it will never completely go away. The DA's may be preparing lawsuits but they will still be at the mercy of Federal courts, and the SCOTUS.

As far as the SCOTUS ruling on the constitutionality any one remember eminent domain or McCain Feingold?? Both were 'thought' to be unconstitutional until they were allowed by the SCOTUS.

I think this is incorrect, there is no law that can not be unmade or modified. Heck even the constitution gets updated from time to time.

Granted we should stop this thing, but in our best Sal Alinsky thought process, free yourself from the Laws, create your own out of thin air and repeal it when we get back in power.

What's different than what they are doing?

This will be able to be repealed but it won't happen until nobama is out of office. Lucky for us the worst that will happen if it passes is we will be paying taxes but not getting any of the benefits until bo is gone (as long as he is a one term idiot.)
