GSk question

Alright so I plan on getting the 3K GSK, and heres my question.

Will getting that make it continue to blow smoke through 3200 RPM's or wherever it defuels? Because mine will blow quite a bit now, but it just quits so soon.

Thanks

Yes it will make it fuel the whole time! Much more driveable, If your getting those springs might as well get 4k

if you go for the 4k kit make sure to get your valve springs upgraded too as the stockers wont hold up to 4k......

It will probably blow more smoke as it goes higher in rpm. The stock turbo cannot pump enough air to keep up. You also need more pump timing due to injection lag.

Judgin from your mods

the 3K will fuel hard to about 3200 RPMS, the 10 plate helps alot, and as stated, your 35 will be inefficient and will produce more than 35 psi..

Far as valve springs go, im runnin stockers still and they are holdin up ok, but i dont rev very often past 3200 rpms...

Well I guess that sucks about the Boost gauge, but anyway. I better be getting myself a clutch before I get myself a GSK.

Good thought

cheap insurance, cause from experience, the GSK is a night and day difference over stock springs, once u get it tuned just right...

Sounds good. I can never give any of these little ricers that pull up beside me my full power, because my Clutch.

I wonder how much HP and Torque I'm putting up? I really want to get on a dyno.

ill give u a hint

100 plate 2/3 forward, 16.5 degree timing, 4K GSK, full AFC and starwheel, with 370 injectors netted me 350 horses, take about 30-50 for a clutch that got destroyed halfway thru the dyno...

Id say with a good clutch, some timing, since i see you need it and a GSK, ud be in the 325-350 range... on stock DV's, some people have broken 400 with a stock turbo, stock 215s and big DV's, Satburn was one of those taht did it..
