I got my Goerend Valve Body today!

I got a Goerend Valve Body and what I think is a Strap and anchor kit. Can any one provide a picture of the kit?
I had the trans built in TX but failed to get a Valve Body, instead I got the Trans Go shift kit that just didn't work out. I hope to have it put in soon!

What problem did you have with the Transgo?

I had a valve body failure and severe 1 - 2 shuttle shift. I am currently running a stock VB and it is very smooth, but not where I want the trans to be...

The reason I ask is I am installing the Transgo on Wednesday.

You can see billet parts on this site, scroll down near the bottom:
http://www.transmissioncenter.net/dodge.htm

That would make sense that those parts come with a valve body but i'm surprised that they didn't include a front servo cover with it. The stocker apparently leaks fluid at the higher line pressures.

What is valve body failure?

The shop didn't tell me how it failed exactly, I believe it was cracked somehow, possible by how it was modded during the trans go install.

Now, check out the replacement VB and see if it is a 48 or a 47 model. Depending on how it was built and your trans was built you may have some issues getting things to work correctly.

The Goerend was shipped from them directly, the only issue was that they wrote 2005 on the sheet rather than 2006. I called and asked and they said it makes no difference. I agree though, I hope it plays well with the trans...

I got the VB, strut and anchor installed today. I added a bottle of Lube Guard and it shifts nice and firm but not harsh.
Now all I need to do is figure out a trans temp gauge and I'm all set.
