A 60 psi boost gauge will be fine, unless you're shooting for twins and 600+ horsepower.
I have front and rear differential gauges, as well as a gauge on my manual transmission. Unless you just go overboard like me, there's probably no need for these gauges unless you pull very heavy for extended distances. I've seen trans and rear diff temp hit 220 a couple times, but very rarely. Probably oil pressure and rail pressure gauges would be much more useful for you. (factory oil pressure gauge is a dummy) --Eric |

You might want to take a look at the Isspro Performax gauges. There's a several reasons to go with them. A 60psi boost gauge would be plenty unless you go with twin turbos.
A diff gauge isn't that important unless you're planning on towing really heavy loads. Even then, the axles are pretty stout and can handle a lot. No need for a temp gauge for a manual. Your main concerns are... EGT, boost, fuel pressure. They're almost a must for every truck. Next would be rail pressure gauge. If you do any modding... it helps in tuning. |

where would I install the probes for both the fuel pressure and rail pressure gauges?

Rail pressure gauges use the existing factory sensor located on top of the fuel rail. You unplug the stock wiring, plug the gauge in, then plug the stock wiring into the back of the gauge plug. Make sure to use dielectric grease on all the rail sensor plugs or all kinds of wacky stuff can happen later on. |

for the "big line kit" where would I pick one of those up at and who makes it? and for the actual fuel pressure gauge do the usually come with all the fittings. What about a fuel pressure warning light? I saw that bully dog makes one would that be just as good as a gauge because really that's all you are watching for anyway is when it drops below a certain pressure. just curious so I can go with just three gauges and a warning light.

There are quite a few companies that sell gauge packages that include everything you need for install. Diesel Manor, Geno's Garage, and Vulcan are a few. I personally went with Diesel Manor. I've got a six speed also, so I went with Isspro- boost(60psi),pyro(1500*) and fuel pressure(30psi). in a triple pillar mount. The only thing not included was the bit and tap for the pyro probe.Other than that EVERYTHING is there. Really is a nice kit. Warning lights work, but with what your planning... Your gonna want a gauge. As far as big line kits, Glacier Diesel or Vulcan can hook you up, But you might want to wait till you upgrade the lift pump to see any benefit. Plus some aftermarket lift pumps come with a big line kit.
