They have been using a different tactic in Texas.....they just kick the front door in and storm the place.......older lady in San Antonio had an answer to two that tried her house........she killed one with a shotgun blast, and sent the other one running. Fortunately they caught the survivor........keep um locked and loaded and easily available.

Oh I argued and argued and argued and argued and argued the point. Even tried to negotiate for extensive training for those that wanted.

No dice.

The 1911 to me is the perfect weapon. Its beautiful, handles like a dream, and is its own toolbox. Nothing can come close to Browning's little piece of perfection there. Not to mention it hurls houseblocks at ~ 1000fps.

No ******* you about the choice of sidearms (much)

The Glock has proven itself over time to be a fine choice.
Just tried one and decided I liked my 1911(s) better.
Just picked up a Ruger GP100 in .357 to use as a "tractor gun".
You cannot believe everything Snopes says, I believe they have been proven to not check out all of the stories.

The do not flash your headlights at oncoming cars, we were told is true by the Los Angeles County Sheriff, we live outside of Los Angeles and we are plagued with gangs who WILL shoot you just for removing their tagging, there are driveby's all the time in the LA area.

Years back about 5:00 A.M. I had a teenage girl screaming and pounding on my front door trying to get in my house because some guy was trying to pull her into his car and my house was the only one with the porch light on, she had to run about a block to get here, there was a trail of her books and clothes down the street.

My H&K fits alot better than my Colt.

Blake, show them the video of the DEA agent who was "the only one professional enough" to carry a Glock

I love me some cold 1911 steel nestled in my leather.

No dice...
We (all of that were instructors) tried the same arguments years ago.
"They" decided (before "they" started purchasing our weapons), that we all needed to be alike. The theory was, so we could share weapons/ammo in a firefight.....yea, right.
Let me see. The last time I needed a buddy to "throw me another mag" was.....uh, oh yea....NEVER!

It's a common "administrative" disease. Ocular-rectalitis I believe?

Oh heck no you didn't go there!

That was the funniest video I've ever seen!

I happen to know the attorney who repped him in his lawsuit against the DEA and others for "defamation."
He claims that as a result of the "leak" of the video by his agency, and it's subsequent viral nature, he can "never work as an undercover agent again," and that it has damaged his credibility and ability to teach off duty...

Really? No crap?

Here's a hint cowboy....if you want to work UC, don't go around in public teaching classes! You never know who you'll meet there
Oh, and don't shoot yourself in the leg teaching "gun safety" genius.
It has a tendancy to "ding" your credibility just a tad

The last part about teaching reminds me of the end of a Jimmy Buffett Song...(Buckwheat voice on- u'll neber wok in dis bidniz again!)

I had a mentally disturbed young lady (18) show up on my porch one early morning ( 3:00AM ) a State Trooper came and took her back to her Grand Mother. A pervert had picked her up from a town about 15 miles away and had brought her out to farm country to try and rape her. Left her stranded when she fought back. I did open the door, but I had an H&K in my hand.

I've seen the no headlight here several times. Driving down dark country roads at night and pass cars filled with "delinquent" looking kids that stare you down as they drive by. Parents work on the farms and the kids run with the gangs. 14 year old kids killing people in drivebys. I really need to get my cap.
