Saw diesel fuel prices in Haymarket Virginia had risen about 15 cents/gal since last weekend.

The thing I don't get is the huge difference in diesel prices in the same city at the same time. I drove from Dallas to Stephenville (Dodge diesel capital of the world) and I could see prices more then 50 to 70 cents a gallon higher right down the street from each other. This is an everyday occurence in Denton as well. How do you explain that?

Local price is still $2.85, 30 minutes away outside of DC/Metro area $2.30.
It varies though.
Two weeks ago here was 2.99, there was 2.13.

I need an aux fuel tank.

The closest stations to me seem to be holding steady at 2.49 -- In the last week, I've watched regular unleaded go from 1.97 to 2.09 to 2.29 but diesel hasn't moved.

Odd huh? Same thing here. I filled up at $2.34 (flying J) yesterday. Gas has gone from $1.99 to $2.12 in the last three weeks. Diesel hasn't moved a bit. There is still one ripoff spot that is getting $2.79 I wonder how they sleep at night everytime I ride by.

It sure has been cold too, we were down to 10* on Tuesday.
