Stock pumps will do that when they start to fail. I went through several of them and had new ones do that within a few thousand miles. If you can afford it I'd suggest going to a different lift pump setup. I'm very happy with Walbro. Read the posts on lift pumps and you can decide what is best for you. Good luck

My last one done that. It is still on there, but the fuel line to my FASS goes right around it.
