Man that is a bunch of money to spend on something you end up modifying.

It is a shame that these parabolic springs were apparently never really tested before unleashing them on the public but "Buyer Beware" i guess? Fortunately it didn't really cost me too much more money to try the different configurations just alot of time and headaches. But it had a happy ending, I'm quite satisfied with my results and now I know more about spring rate and spring loads than I ever wanted to know.

On another subject, there are people on here who like to take things that others write and read into them, for example: When I wrote that "A good steering stabelizer has fixed every truck I have experienced death wobble in" some make the assumption that all trucks that experience "death wobble" have worn front end components and that a steering stabilizer is just masking the problem. While it's true that death wobble is more prevelant with worn front end components it is also a condition that trucks with tight front steering that tow enough weight behind the rear axle to make the front ends light suffer from, I.E.Wreckers. These are the only times and conditions that I have ever experienced wobble, not just with 1st Gen. Dodges but with 2nd Gen's, Chevys, Fords and even an International. In all those instances the front ends were tight and aligned and by adding or replacing a steering stabilizer the dancing front end was fixed not masked.

Whats your problem??? Buyer beware WT?

I got the parabolic springs on my truck I love them they ride on my truck. My truck is a clubcab. My Friends Std cab with the parabolic spring rides even better.
I strongly believe that's cause of wheelbase..... Std cab trucks are less bouncy than CC trucks brand new off the line!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You got a 4D long box that truck never came off the line with 4WD... Do you know why??? I'll tell you It's because they bounced too much.
NO off the shelf leaf spring has ever been built for that wheelbase truck

You hack something together and you complain.

Please brush your teeth......... it bad enough I have to rubber boots when I read your comments

Steering stabilizer WT? dude step out of the outhouse get some air.

Hack = Is when you put some thing together and it dont work right.

Then you must tweak it to perfect it.

A source for a parabolic leaf other than the caravan is the 1st-gen overload leaf. My D250 has a pair.

Those of you who have the parabolics... what is your shackle angle like? Mine is vertical. I think I need more angle to get a better ride.

I have had my parabolic leafs in and the truck on the road for maybe a month. I have experienced a wide rage of ride quality. I totally understand the the bouncing some have described. It gets going and seems to self perpetuate. Yet on other roads it seems fine. Loaded with 2 face cords of wood and pulling my trailer the ride was better. current tires are 37x12.5x16.5 goodyear GSA, d rated 3400 lb load capacity. with the tires aired up on the way to the woods front end was more bouncy. Shocks are bilstien 5125 for a 4 inch lift. Since shortening the secondary leaf seems to be the key what about shortening the original custom suspension leaf? BTW I have buckstop bumper, milemarker hydraulic winch and odessy group 31 battery.

It would have to give you more flexibility than having both thick leafs stacked all the way to the ends.

I switched tires tire's yesterday to 37x12.5x16.5 goodyear mtr's E rated. With tires set to 50 psi, I am still getting more tire sidewall flex then suspension flex. I weigh about 240 lbs. and can jump on the bumper and get almost no suspension movement. As others have said I think this is just to much spring. Below is a picture of the truck, with the custom suspension front springs and skyjacker rear springs.
