Nothing has changed there, if you dont want to read, talk, or discuss other makes, just dont bother going into those forums.

We added the new forums in an effort to turn that "very good thing" you mentioned, into a great thing.

Hope this helps.
Rich.
My post below is also over in another related thread - moderators may feel free to delete it here if you feel it's inappropriate to have it in both threads - but since the subject is obviously duplicated, well...

====

Yeah - I'm not real thrilled either - jury is still out as to whether I stick around what used to be a Dodge site, or simply move on (NO, I have NO illusions I would be missed!)

Lotsa times, in our frantic scramble to be "more", we really become LESS - to me, this is one of those times!

It has NOTHING to do with whether I like GM or Fords - I've had a long and pleasant past history of ownership with both brands - and I am fully aware of available sites where info on them can be found if and when I'm interested...

The first complication for me personally, is that it's been my habit to check in in the morning to the "last 50 posts" option - usually brought up all that had gone on since my last check in the previous evening - then several times during the day as I take breaks from outside activities... I always had to drift thru 90% of stuff that wasn't particularly interesting to me, but that's OK, at least it WAS Dodge/Cummins related, and THAT is what *I* came here to see...

NOW, in addition to that 90%, I face the likelihood that with the added GM and Ford stuff, the "last 50 posts" option will become WORTHLESS to me because of the added clutter I'll be forced to wade thru - and then, at 26.4 kbaud dialup speed, I get to return to going thru about 6 different specific forums to see what Cummins-related stuff might interest me...

When it comes to that, *I* am GONE, searching for a replacement Dodge/Cummins site...
