FOOLING the ECM

My gauge is acting up. I know of the problems with the oil pressure sending units in our trucks, which is why I have ordered a mechanical gauge. The problem is, I can't stand the red "CHECK GAGES" light staying on.
I hate to spend $70 just to turn off that light. Below is a list of imformation to assist in solving this problem.

1: '01, 2500, 24 valve
2: The wire color codes in the harness are as follows:
Orange
Grey w/black
Blue w/black
If anymore information is needed feel free to e-mail or PM me. Thanks

I don't believe the "flash" for "oil psi drops off" applies to 01 trucks. A sending unit is in order.

Gray/Black- Engine oil pressure sensor signal

Don't have the time right now to trace the circuit, I'll check it out later
