Fleetguard LF3972

I have walked into 5 of these free at work and am wondering if they are good to use in the '05's. I only found one thread with this filter listed but it didnt say weather or not it will work. Genos says it will, but I wanted some "real world" feedback. thanks! -Tim-

It will work. It is the Fleetguard version of the stock Mopar filter.

From the website: http://www.cumminsfiltration.com/en/index.shtml

FLEETGUARD LF3972 replaces OEM part CHRYSLER 5083285AA.
Additional Information:
CHRYSLER 5083285AA CUMMINS 3949561
For upgrade, use
LF16035 Stratapore upgrade
