Where to find Ram 4500 front mud guards
Anyone know if there is such an animal as a fitted or whatever mud guard for the Ram 4500/5500 trucks.
Everything I see on the web is for the pickup trucks. With the 4500/5500 you have the large molded black plastic fender which prevents the use of the regular pickup version of mud guards.
I was thinking of cutting up a leftover 2' X 3' rear mud flap and screwing it into the black plastic front fender molding.
The snow and slush that is kicked up by the front tires is nasty!

Where to find a mud gaurd?
I have been using the 24x32" on the front and them on the front of the rear and 24x36" on the rears supported by lighter duty chains. I have got mine from a farm machinery place or from any of your hiway truck places. They were on sale Christmas time for $10.00 so I picked up a bunch for my new truck. I support mine off of a bracket form the frame. PM me if you need more info. They work very well.
