I know you THINK you're being funny, but you're not. Life was tough in those days and I'm just happy I survived at all.
How do YOU know how often I wash myself?
Yeah, looks real tough. You wanna spend a weekend with me instead? I didn't think so.
Eve'nin all. Hot here today. 94 with high humidity.

Dang things have a mind of their own and if you think you can tell a cat what to do and when to do it, you never been around a cat
I had a long haired jet black male many years ago and my neighbor lady had about 35 cats she kept in a carport with chicken wire where the door would be...every evening when she got home from work she would open the door to let them roam and eat on her porch, my cat would sit patiently waiting about 30 mins before she got there to let the girls out
He died an early death from complications due to too much loving..no kidding that was what the Vet told me....what a way to go

I tried that a few times... just woke up somewhere I was unfamilliar with, no money, and sore...
Evenin. Went out for food and beer, was in a bar down the road... kind of a 'Cheers' atmosphere. Some dude goes, 'Hey, I know you!!' (I was ready to fight at this point...) 'You're the guy on 25th that gave me that beer that one night!!!'
Dang right that was me. That is an awesome man statement, I won't lie.
Ok, gonna go be nice to the OL and take her to bed. Hope everyone has a nice night.

Na, you're good. Just knock on the door next time and let me know you're in the neighborhood.
No party pooper here, I like a good party. Jim and I had just got back from the only place in town that serves food after 5pm and we got singled out buy the bar owner, who was drunk. He was OK until Jim tried to have an intelligent conversation with him. It went down hill quickly. I guess I was already looking for a reason.
We got beat down today, 105 locally, humidity ran from 4-9%. Even though it's relatively dry it's still hot.
Evening all. 5-0 got one in the hotel parking lot this afternoon. I don't know what the primary charge was but based on the way the guy came into the parking lot attempting to elude was probably on the menu.
Shorts, you need to slow down. You're going to run out of chores before the summer is out if you don't start pacing yourself.

But it's a dry heat!
I HATE parties. No good ever came from partying. It's justa buncha hootin' and hollerin' that serves no useful purpose other than to waste time while nothing productive is accomplished.
4%??? Good Lord, I bet you could light a piece of paper on fire if you dragged it along the pavement for a few inches!
You should just get back into law enforcement Rick. I think that's where your heart is.
Morning all.
Still hot here at 80 degrees this early in the AM.
TUESDAY, JUNE 19th:
0240 BC - T-Rad Eratosthenes estimated the circumference of the Earth using two sticks.
1586 - English colonists sailed away from Roanoke Island, NC, after failing to establish England's first permanent settlement in America.
1778 - U.S. General George Washington's troops finally left Valley Forge after a winter of training.
1846 - The New York Knickerbocker Club played the New York Club in the first organized baseball game in history.
1862 - U.S. President Abraham Lincoln outlined his Emancipation Proclamation, which outlawed slavery in U.S. territories.
1864 - The USS Kearsarge sank the CSS Alabama off of Cherbourg, France.
1865 - The emancipation of slaves was proclaimed in Texas.
1912 - The U.S. government established the 8-hour work day.
1917 - During World War I, King George V ordered the British royal family to dispense with German titles and surnames. On July 17, 1917, the family took the name "Windsor".

1943 - Henry Kissinger became a naturalized United States citizen.
1944 - The U.S. won the battle of the Philippine Sea against the Imperial Japanese fleet.

1958 - In Washington, DC, nine entertainers refused to answer a congressional committee's questions on communism. *I think it's odd that even NOW, there are many entertainers that support our President and his basic theme is communism*
1961 - The U.S. Supreme Court struck down a provision in Maryland's constitution that required state officeholders to profess a belief in God.
1965 - Air Marshall Nguyen Cao Ky became South Vietnam's youngest premier at age 34.
1973 - The Case-Church Amendment prevented further U.S. involvement in Southeast Asia.
1987 - The U.S. Supreme Court struck down the Louisiana law that required that schools teach creationism.
1998 - Switzerland's three largest banks offered $600 million to settle claims they'd stolen the assets of Holocaust victims during World War II. Jewish leaders called the offer insultingly low.
2000 - The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that a group prayer led by students at public-school football games violated the 1st Amendment's principle that called for the separation of church and state.
THOUGHT FOR THE DAY:
I broke up with my Gym; we were not working out.
Coffee is ready. To heck with the healthy junk; donuts are here!

Hope everyone has a good day. Taking some clothes and a few things to donate. Not sure what else is on the docket today, but we'll find something. Go to bed tired.
