ebay alert: 81 Crew cab, CHEAP

Not sure if i'm allowed to post this but the price is so low and the short time left made me feel that I should post it here, you can always take it down if it breaks any sort of rules.

Wow, and it's still cheap. I bet there's a couple snipers laying back and waiting though. Good luck, guys.

I dont know but that truck looks more like a '74-'76 to me. It could have had all different sheet metal put on it at some point but ????
Its close to me but not close enough to go take a look at it.

I would say it's an 80, not a 81. It's got the pre 81 grill and tail lights. Looks like good scrap.

Reality check, what's one really worth? Here is what a nice one sold for today:
http://cgi.govliquidation.com/auctio...&convertTo=USD
Location appears to be the key in price. In Pa clunkers with the window knocked out recently brought half as much as this nice one. And no, I didn't buy it but look for it to turn up probably on EPay in the future.

That truck is only 2 hours from me. I would love to pick that up cheap to put all my drivetrain underneath of. I always thought that you couldn't get a crew cab with a long box. Did dodge make them or did somebody lengthen the frame? I think maybe the body is worse then the seller thinks though. However, I bet it's still better than mine!!

You could get them, but in 2wd only.

crew cab question

So do you need an 81 or newer to get the same sheet metal as our trucks? What is the last year of the crew cabs?

Dodge built the crew from the 60's up until 1985.
