Not familiar with the Laramie's, but I just looked in the manual and this is what it says:

Hope this helps some? Maybe the seat is already positioned within the "zone" the computer is programmed for and automatically disables it? Try programming memory 1 or 2 with the seat positioned within about 12 inches of your chest to see if the easy exit/entry feature works then, it should move back about 2.5 inches and forward the same distance. Another thing, I interpret the manual as saying that this particular feature is only available when memory 1 or 2 is programmed. If you haven't programmed either, then maybe that is another reason it isn't working? Let us know if any of the above works.

So ... I moved seat forward 1/2 inch set memory and wella the seat powers back. I must have had it too far to back for it to work. Thanks 6.7!
