Nah..... Uncle riding shot gun say for an 85y/o he's got some pretty good reflexes. Almost pulled out of the first couple of 360s. Was just a hair behind the curve and kissed the guardrail which sent him spinning the other way and hit the ditch backwards and it was all over.

That looked more like an art expo than breakfast. I couldn't eat anything that fancy. Couldn't find gravy anywhere.

Supposed to hit -25* tonight. We'll see. I'll keep my cup filled just in case.

Yeah, that was kinda of foof foof menu, I was hoping for some steak and eggs, biscuts and gravy or even scrambled eggs and bacon. The food was good but a little to complex for this redneck.

-25*, that sounds painful. We have hardly hit 30* so far this year. Its been very unseasonably warm here this year. I hope it get cold and snows soon, we need to kill of the darn bugs.

-25* is a mere warm-up for the real cold weather. I hear rumors that -45 to-50* is coming by the end of the week...... That will start separating the men from the boys.

I got 7.5 hours of sleep today and they were all together uninterupted! That's more than the 2 previous days combined! I feel great.

Hey Marc - - don't look now, but the calendar says NOVEMBER 16 - - Not February - - oh how lovely. I remember being in a duck blind in Minnesota at 40 below and suddenly asking myself "what sensible duck is going to be out flying in this sort of weather?" Then it hit me - what sensible human is out in this sort of weather. Packed up and went back to the car thinking what if that sucker doesn't start - - - oh mercy. Not to make you jealous or anything, but I had an hour nap in the lanai yesterday afternoon in the sun in the bathing suit - - gorgeous.

Wow, I missed breakfast yesterday - - sorry about that, Scott. Wish your ad had run a day earlier - - I would have been there. Fiver coming home today - - major clean up after 4 months under wrap. Poor thing thinks I don't love it anymore. I was laughing - - everyone is posting they are "winterizing" their rig and I am bringing mine back out of hiding. It is time to go bye bye. No Marc, not coming to Alaska right now - - 2011.

Grabbing a phoo and out of here. I looked everywhere on the web to find Heidi - - did someone find a link yet?

Bob

November can get downright chilly up here. I remember many a Thanksgiving that was in the -40s*. Let it freeze hard now before we get too much snow cover. Keep the mosquitoes down next summer.

We actually have a flock of ducks that winter over up here these days. They hang out in a spot on the river that doesn't freeze cause of the warm water discharge from the steam plant.

Sounds like Thanksgiving 1994. Went to bed the night before and it was +20 degrees. Woke up thanksgiving morning and it was -48*F. Happened unexpectedly and no one had plugged in that night. Only vehicle in the driveway that wold start was my '77 Suburban. Took almost a full minute to build oil pressure that morning.

This is a great place to spend a winter.......

Almost cold enough to head for the hot springs and lay around outside. Perhaps even roll in the snow.
