What do I really need for a tranny?

I have a Smarty Jr and my TC is slipping/vibrating when I am on anything over #1 setting(40 HP). I do not plan on trying to go over a 100 HP chip or downloader.

We are planning on getting a 4 horse with living quarters trailer soon and I know this tranny is not going to last once I hook on to that trailer. I like the occasional street light race in town, but do not anticiapate doing boosted launches, 1/4 miles, or pulling.

VB & TC only or should I look at a full built tranny?

A high torque converter, a upgraded valve body and good rebuild by someone knowledgeable of Diesel would be minimum.

Call Dusty at HTS. Explain to him how you use your truck. He will hook you up with the right parts. Dusty is great to deal with, VERY knowledgable about trannys. Unlike alot of companys out there he will not try to sell you something you don't need.
