I pressure washed the engine the transmission and under the cab. I probably will hit it again once or twice before I start tearing it apart.

Yeah it was real and it was fun but wasn't real fun

about a week ago I completed (with DTR help) installing a borgeson box and shaft, crossover steering and a fludamper. my clutch chatter reduced significantly. feels smother at all engine speeds and seems quieter. The crossover and borgeson setup along with new 315/75/16 Good Year duratrac tires have my rig handling like a new truck!! Thanks everybody!!

I did a little work on my front spring hangers I drilled pilot holes and cut nine 1.5 and two 2.25 holes it the part that ties the left nd right hangers together. and redesigned the hangers to accept 52" and stock 48" springs.

See post #22 in this thread for a drawing of the front part I worked on today.

I started a template to cut out the side plates for my front spring hangers. I got as far as I could without cutting as I am waiting for the plasma cutter. I will post a how I did it in my build thread when I get restarted.

I did some day dreaming and came up with the idea to make a PTO cover for my Getrag with the filler up higher And why not add a place for the temperature sender?

Look into Trans cool units, they are finned aluminum, comes with a temp sender port, and hold a 1/2 QT extra fluid each.
Geno's is where I ordered mine.
I have them on a few of my 5 speed trucks

I just remove the top PTO bolt hole to fill from, using a squeeze bottle.

They are nice but too pricy right now. I had thought of making a set out of aluminum with tubes running through them. But I didn't get around to building a cooler for the TIG welder last winter.

They are a little pricey, but they come in a pair, so I add one cooler to each truck, so I can do two trucks with one set.
I install them on the side that doesn't have the driveshaft on it, to make it easy to work on things.
