Hydraulic follows truck braking action precisely. Without it, you have to guess how much braking, or try to measure the deceleration of the truck, or some other voodoo to apply the trailer brakes. Wrong guess can have this result.

Trailer brakes locked up on glare ice, and launched the trailer into oncoming traffic. Signal was "precharge" which is Greek for "guess" from brake lights to controller. Driver had just touched the brake pedal to signal those behind him he intended to slow down.

What did I do today ?

I wished I never drove my truck !!!

Some stupid woman in front of the woman in front of me decided to stop in the middle of the intersection as the light had turned green and we all started to move forwards.

Why ??? Who the hedoublehockeysticks knows ????

Light turns green... all people move forwards..... retarded woman in front stops, causing the $100,000 2014 S class to stop in front of me, of which I attempted to stop, but wound up hitting in the rear trunk lid.

Well, it's my fault I hit her, as I wasn't paying attention to a nutjob who stopped in front of the car in front of me, for no apparent reason...

Yeah, it's my fault there's probably a $6k bill heading my insurance companies way...

Stupid drivers

T -- That really sucks. But pretty much all of us make mistakes or get into accidents. Doesn't make you feel any better at the time, though.

As Oliver said, at least no one was hurt!

Easy to do. You see the car in front of you begin to proceed into an intersection, change your focus to the traffic planning your launch, and the car in front stops proceeding.

I found that I had to train myself to not move up on such a car without paying close attention to it. I usually stay locked up and wait till it clears the intersection before proceeding. I get honked at, but that's all right.

Too bad it wasn't a '93 Honda.

I normally do this, but with the normal stresses of life, and being preoccupied with the thoughts of the tasks set before me, I let my guard down.

No one was hurt, and it's just a car, but you can't help but kick yourself in the **** for this happening.

Live and learn...

Nope, It wasn't considered my fault because the lady didn't know where she was going and just stopped in an intersection.
The second one got into an altercation with my right(Blind side) front wheel.
Talk about stupid.

I had one do that to me, left lane, right turn signal on, 65 MPH traffic flow. Astro van ABS brakes rock. Cut a question mark around her with my brake foot near the radiator. Intersection was filled with tire smoke when I got through it. I wonder how badly she messed her pants.

Sorry to hear about the trunk bender there T-man.......but as others have said, most of us have been there.

Glad no damage to the truck, and only a bit to your pride.

Definitely sorry about the truck on that one...

but as for what I did. I spent the day and about $70 to wire up an electric fan and controller. So far definitely a noticeable amount of power at the pedal, and for the first time i'm looking forward to going to the gas station to see what the affects are there. So far I am super pleased with how it turned out!!

Today, I drove about 230 miles round trip into PA and back to a supplier of mine. Wife decided to tag along, but she eventually wished she hadn't ...

Can anyone say "your truck rides too ....... rough" .... "I can't stand it !" ??

lol....

oh well..... you wanted to come along....

EDIT:

She gets out of the shower and starts complaining..... She got sunburned on the right side of her shoulder, arm and her right leg. I guess it was hot enough and sunny enough for her to get the "passenger side" tan that she always wanted....

ROTFLMAO !!!!!
