Exclamation

Coopers are the biggest POS tire I have ever experienced. I bought a new set for a '79 bronco in '91. It did'nt take long to have a tread seperation. I returned the tire to a different vender (three states away) and got a pro-rated warrenty. This happened again, and again and again. 4 out of the six Coopers that I had seperated at the tread. I did not use my last pro-rated warrenty blow outs, at this point I decided to never use Cooper again. Its too bad they make Pro Comps and so many other brands. I wont be using them either.

I had the xtreme A/ts for 40K miles with no problems. I have the Nittos now...made in USA. Going good. Got about 14K on them. I don't think I'll buy pro comps again after seeing this

I also have the Pro Comp Xtreme A/T's. I do NOT recommend these either! These are the biggest POS tires that I have owned for sure! I have never taken them off road and I have tread separation and chunking. The problem I have is the place that I got them from went out of business! I will NEVER buy Cooper tires again!

I checked with my tire shop since I jsut recently put the Dean Mud Terrain SXT's on my truck. The shop said this was a two year old recall and my tires were safe. Thanks for posting this.

Not a truck tire, but i know some of you have cars too.

Commonly found on late model GM cars, the Goodyear Eagle LS series has been problematic. Mine faulted at 25k and some google searching shows many others. The tires had seperated, a couple had some indents in the sidewalls, would vibrate bad and not balance.

Called goodyear, and despite there being complaints on http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/complaints/ for them, they knew *nothing* about problems with these tires and one lady hung up when I asked to file a complaint.

Had to replace at my own expense.
