Code P0335 &P0336 CrankShaft Position Sensor

Engine light and Electronic Throttle Control light both are on. Went to the Parts store and the following codes showed up:

P0335 - Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

P0336 Crankshaft Position Sensor A Ckt Range Perf.

So the Autozone guy told me that I need to replace the Sensor, $32.00 for the sensor. He also said that might be a warranty issue on the motor. Looks like it would be an easy part to put in... One problem, where is this sensor located?

Can anyone tell me if this sounds right and is it a easy swap out? What help manual would show me the location of the sensor.

Any help would be great... Thank you in advance

It's mounted right above the harmonic balancer. Crawl underneath the front of the truck, it'll be on your left, can't miss it.

I went thru that whole scenerio, turned out to be a cracked connection on the wire loom that runs under the oil filter, there are some old threads on here re the cam sensor mis diagnosis, hope you got it fixed.
