I was on 500 mile round trip, to pick up a alum. flat bed for my truck. I was about 100 miles out and hitting a pretty good grade and the check engine light came on. No effect on the performance, ran good and I finished the 400 miles. I got back to town and had a friend run the code and it came back P1693. Not sure what was the problem, he cleared the code and I went home with no further check engine light. The LP was replaced approx. year ago. Any ideas...thanks

 

all the P1693 is, is a companion code meaning something is goofed in the ECM or PCM, just go and use a code reader to see if you have any other codes hang'n around in there...
