Clearance Light Gaskets

I've searched the forum but can't find any info on where to buy the clearance light gaskets. Mine leak like crazy. I know LMC sells a clearance light kit but the lights have different screw locations than the factory ones. I'm thinking the gasket may be a different size/shape. I'm sure some of ya'll have replaced them. Where can I find those gaskets? It literally rains inside my truck when I get caught in bad weather.

To my knowledge they are not available from Ma' Mopar anymore, nor are they reproduced.

I'm also pretty sure they are no longer available. Best bet is to purchase gasket material and, using one of your old gaskets as a template, make new ones.

Stop by your local roofing company, and see if they'll give you some scrap EPDM rubber roofing material. Cut to shape with common scissors. Should work like a champ.

I just sent an E-mail to the LMC people asking if they would consider reproducing these gaskets.

I have a friend who would probably cut them out of a cereal box, and coat them with permatex.

Hella used to manufacture chrome clearance lights for our trucks that look far better than the OEM units. They were Hella part #79726 but are now discontinued. However, if you can source a set somewhere, they do come with gaskets.

The gaskets that come with their light kits may work. I know the lenses mount different though which makes me think the gaskets would be different also.

I bought a sheet of Neoprene foam gasket material that I can use to make new gaskets if desired.

Just like this stuff....It's 1/8 (.125") thick. Used it for a few things...works very well.

I would prefer to have nice clean cut replacements already available.
