Check out chickenfarmer's Dodge!

Hello everybody! Of course I don't know where this goes, but I just wanted to show off my new w250 to y'all. It's a 93 w250 cummins. Pretty stock with only 137 thousand on the od. If anyone wants to read I'd be happy to tell you all about it. I'm working on getting rid of all the fusible likes and putting in a fuse box now and I will give a write up on it later. It needs some work and some love and it will be an awesome truck, let me know if you want to hear more!

Welcome to the board. You are in the right place. Now that you have started a build thread we will be watching A word of warning though we like pictures.

Your truck looks like a good start. what are your plans for it?

Perfect, I like pictures too! Once I get wiring done and a few little maintenance things it will hit the salty michigan roads for winter. I won't do too much to it, I'll get a pic under the hood when I get home Tonight

I am on the hunt for an earlier style grill to mount up on it, and I bought a set of factory rims off an '08 to really make it look sharp for next summer.

There is a bit more work to get the older grille to fit than just a bolt on. That said I like the older grilles better.
Did you see this thread? I like the way it came out.

I did see that grill thread, and I think it will be worth the work, I want the old girl to match my trailduster.
Here's the under the hood pic as promised. 0
The pumps turned up a little but I haven't looked inside it yet. I got a full 4" strait pipe from the turbo back. I just got the bhaf on and I do plan on building a nice box for it hopefully sooon. I'm glad you guys are interested! I'm enjoying my first oil burner!

Ya gotta wonder what the Chrysler engineers were thinking when it comes to wiring.
There are some good articles in the "sticky" section of this board on adding relays to take the load off the stock wiring.
At some point I am going to re place the fusable links with maxi fuses.

Looks like you have a decent truck to start with there, and a good attitude!

I'd spend a few minutes pressure washing under the hood. Try and get the motor and surrounding areas as clean as possible. I like to clean with straight water first, then I use Simple Green...spray it over everything, let it set up for 10 minutes of so, then start spraying again. Usually comes out pretty well.

Looking forward to your updates.
