Changed to Tow Mirrors

I bought a set of used Tow Mirrors and removed my power mirrors from my 97 2500. Of course, I now have a small hole in the door panel where I took out the power mirror switch. Can any tell me if Dodge had a plug that goes in there or were the door panels different for trucks without power mirrors? Anyone have one of those pugs if they were used? I would call my local dealer but they and I are not on speaking terms right now.

Love the new mirrors.

Don Miller
97 2500 CTD, #6 plate, Brand new Rear end due to dealers error.

Re:Changed to Tow Mirrors

Don I have the 2002 tow mirrors, and hope you like them better than I do. The proble I have is with the passenger mirror. It's a flat, not convex, and the little convex in the corner is way too small. I've come close twice to side swiping somebody who was driving along side of me. I now have that side almost pointing downward to cover that area making it almost worthless except for that blind spot. Sorry I got them.

Re:Changed to Tow Mirrors

Chose not to leave the switch there as the mirrors aren't power anymore.

Yes, I noticed the convex mirror is kinda small and I saw the same thing about missing a car that is almost right beside you. I added a new convex mirror over the top of the old one using double sided mounting foam. It is about 1" diameter larger and gives great view pattern. I got it at Schucks but I imagine any auto parts store will have one.

Fishin2Deep4U asked about a switch, do you need one? offer + shipping and it's yours.

Don
