Blew apart both of my Bilstien 5100's.

After about a year and 75,000 kms my shocks had a complete come apart. Literally! What gives. Absolutely nothing out of the ordinary. Doing the same job for about 200 days and my shocks decide to do this. Very strange.....

The 1st pic is the drivers side obviously and the 2nd pic is the passengers. Forget Baja testing..... Send your stuff up to the oilpatch in northern bc!

Send that weather south, I want snow. Sorry to hear about your shocks, Have you contacted them, I would call that catastrophic failure.

I will be calling the guy who I bought them from tomorrow. Might have to send back my carli anti-sway bar links. The heim joint in them is in rough shape as well.

Swamp, hopefully you have a warm garage to repair the truck in. That looks alot like winter to me. Isn't winter driving in the oil field so much fun. Good luck with the repair.

i would not worry to much about the quality of the 5100's. I think they were to short to begin with and finally had enough..... Going to order longer shocks tomorrow.
