better fuel efficiency

I know there are alot of things to do for more power, and usually getting more power results in lowering your fuel efficiency.

My questions is what can you do to get better mileage? Will doing all these do it yourself power adders improve or hurt mileage?

Re:better fuel efficiency

On my 92 I have made the following changes-
185 Bosch injectors, 16cm turbo housing, increased rpm to 2900, timing is set at 1.4.
Yes, my truck has considerably more power went from 157 hp to 220, but my mileage has not decreased and in fact has slightly improved if I control the right foot. ;D That is the biggest problem, when we have the extra power then most of us have a tendency to use it.
Other things that improve fuel economy are, clean air filter, clean fuel filter, not using cruise control, not driving to fast, properly inflated tires and using a good quality fuel.
---
Al
