Best injector cleaner??

I have read thru the threads about injector cleaner additives, used with and without PS additive: Okay, so what IS the best injector cleaner to use? I use PS (white jug) in at LEAST every other tank, but would like to know that my injectors are TOTALLY clean -

Look in my gallery. The injectors I pulled out at about 90,000 miles, using PS almost every tank.

Thinking of that I need to pickup a big jug of PowerService. I'm totally out...

So far I've noticed improvements when using PS in the fuel. Personally I would look for the grey bottle (The cleaner) over the white bottle.

PS is popular, but I'm not a fan. It's mostly #2 diesel!

I've used PS, Stanadyne, Howe's, CPFF or whatever it's called, MMO, and just about everything you can think of.

Best I've found to date is Fuel Power a.k.a. FP60 from www.lubecontrol.com

I LOVE this FP60!! Last tank I got 20mpg even-- it was mostly hwy, but had some city and off-road thrashing on it as well. This is in windy WY, where you're always uphill or downhill.

I'm ecstatic with the results FP60 has given me so far.

I'm still new to the diesel world so I have a dumb question. The other day I bought some PS and I had the choice of 6 cetane or 4 cetane. I bought the 6. What does these numbers mean?

Cetane rating is a relative measure of a fuel's tendency to auto-ignite.

Please explain this again in layman's terms. What is the difference between 6 and 4? Better cleaning?

Think of Cetane is to Diesel as Octane is to Gasoline (kinda sorta)

It's not better cleaning, but raises the Cetane level of the fuel 6 points or 4 points.

I will second the FP60, this is some really good stuff. I have been running it in my wifes car for the past 4 months and mileage has greatly increased and the sound of those noisy GM fuel pumps are gone.

I switched the truck over a month ago and have been seeing an avg of 1mpg better.

http://www.bobistheoilguy.com is a great resource for everything you ever wanted to know about any automotive fluid you can think of. FP60 ranks very high over there.

I've been using Amsoil Cetane boost in the winter and Diesel fuel modifier in every tank. I can't give you an improvement figure cuz I've used them since I brought the old girl home (truck not wife).
I gotta think it works, a couple of years back she sat in an airport garage for a week of zero and below weather. When I got in and turned the key it turned over slow but started right up, only smoked and clattered for a minute.

Are there any retail chains that carry this product that you know of? Thanks.

Actually, I bought 2 gallons of FP60 and one of LC20. They worked wonders on the car (varnish on valvetrain and dipstick has been dissolved) and car works better than ever.

On the truck, I've noticed better MPG, quieter running, and less smoke. The stuff actually tests out as a 20W oil, and lubricity is the SINGLE greatest aspect to running it.

The fact that it cleans everything so well, helps mpg and cuts smoke is just bonus.

FP60

As first I ran a heavy dose-- about 6 OZ in a tank. Now I use 2-3 and it's just fine.
