Average MPH over life....

I just saw a thread over on the other site...and I though I would post here.

Just rolled over 105,305 miles in 2333 hours...for a lifetime average speed of 45.14 mph. I though I would have been faster...since I never drive slower than 80...but I must idle too much! LOL

45 MPH for the life of the vehicle!!! Talk about a LOT of highway driving.!!! I am barely into the 30's in my Lamborghini and I drive that mostly on the highways over 180 MPH ! You have no diea how fast that really is over a long period of time. THat means virtually NO city driving, probably 99.2% highway, and 0.8% city. **** MAN!!

Question: How do I find engine hours information on my 3rd Generation 24 valve?
Answer: When the trip odometer reset switch button is pressed and held for longer than about six seconds with the ignition switch in the On position and the engine speed message from the PCM is zero, the trip odometer information will be momentarily displayed, then the engine hours information will be displayed. The VFD must be displaying the odometer information when the trip odometer reset switch button is pressed in order to toggle to the engine hours display. The engine hours will remain displayed for about thirty seconds, until the engine speed message is greater than zero, or until the ignition switch is turned to the Off position, whichever occurs first.

From the Tech facts section ....

Turn the key to on...then hol the odometer button down till it pops up.

You must start with it on odometer...not trip or it will just reset the trip.

If you would continue the way your are going now at 10,000 hrs you would have over 442,000 miles.

I am at 34.71 avg. miles with 30132 miles and 868 hrs. I'd these engines last over 10-15 thousand hrs.

2,434hrs and 83k, is that allot of hrs for that mileage, cquestad has 2333hrs with 105k??? I also have run 315's and 35's for many miles without recalibrating. Do you think my mileage is at all acurate? Or is it allot for my hrs?

I'm at 2128 hours for 83,443 miles for an average of 39.2mph. I had my computer recalibrated for the 305/70-17 tires as soon as I put them on.
