ATP Wrap Noise Reduction Anyone?

Hey Guys,
Has anyone used the ATP wrap noise reduction kit (found at http://atpwrap.com/dodge_ram.htm)? If so, does it really work? While pulling my camper (and the overdrive off) at 2700 RPMS at 70MPH the noise is deafening. After a few hour it drives me and the family crazy. . Help!

Re:ATP Wrap Noise Reduction Anyone?

I've seen it on one of the Coast Guard boats. I like it but it's pricey.
Mr Jones0027

Why do you tow in 3rd gear. I've been towing in OD for 284,000 miles. Keep your rpm above 1700-1800 and you'll be just fine. If the trailers pretty heavy- install a Power Edge EZ or a BD Plug in Power and hammer down.
BigBlackDodge,
I have an automatic tranny. Whenever I leave the overdrive on (in semi flat country in Southern Illinois with the cruise set at 70mph at 1900rpms) the tranny hunts for gears when going up a hill. :'( When I take the overdrive off, the noise kills us for long trips. The trailer is about 6250lbs dry weight, loaded over 7500lbs. I don't mind the shifting, as long as it doesn't blow my tranny out (which as we know are prone to go out). Which is why I was thinking about the ATP wrap. If it muffled the noise enough with the overdrive off I'd spring for the $700. If the ATP wrap doesn't work well enough, then why spend the money. : Anyway, thanks for the input. I appreciate it. Adios.
