Mine works perfectly. I had one of the first ones and it had issues but Quad and his gang replaced with a new one with no hassle about 6-months later. The new one is perfect.

I love mine. My only issues were caused by a bad ground. My fault totally and Quad's tech Roarke was very helpful in getting it diagnosed for me.

Thumbs up

Love mine, had some problems with FP but was sending units that were calibrated to 0-100psi, they got new ones 0 - 40 psi. Put it on did computer update and good to go. I would def. buy it again, I think for everything it does it is a bargain. Check out the boards, the owner of the company gets on here and solves problems if people have them. That is another reason I got mine - - -Excellent service and Excellent tech support.

I'm having issues with my FP, and the boost. I have a silver 62, and my max boost will only read 32. Quad tech are supposed to be working, but they don't know when they will have a fix??? Lot of bucks to have the two critical parameters not reading? Hopefully they will have a fix for it.... Also, the A pillar mount is really cheezy. its held in with velcro and not very stable in the pillar mount.. for $60 bucks, it could have been much better designed.... just my 2cents... now when the get the issue resolved with my FP sending unit and fix the software glitch with the reading of a aftermarket turbo.... I will definately be satisfied and very happy.... the commander has the potential to be the badd A of all guages.... just a little refinement is needed.... I'll patiently wait.... but not too long......

I've got the commander with the fuel pressure kit. Works great and looks good in the pillar mount.

The only issue I had was that with the Jacobs E-brake there was no room on the CP3 to mount the fuel pressure sending unit. I ended up mounting the sending unit upside down using the outlet banjo bolt on the fuel filter housing. I like this better than using a tapped cover because you see the pressure at the outlet and thus may be able to observe a clogged filter.

I would recommend the Commander to anyone looking for gauges.

I have one and love it. I also had a small problem with mine and their customer support is excellent, They had me on the phone and walked me through everything step by step, still couldn't fix the problem, so they sent me a new Commander at no cost to me. I would highly recommend you get one.

Just got off the phone with Quadzilla, they have addressed my issues, and I second the customer support. I highly recommend the commander.

Awesome product. And I like the pillar mount. It's worked perfect from the day I installed it.
I'd buy another one if I got a new truck.

The problem was they had received some diodes that where supposed to be capable to reading a higher voltage (say 5v), in order to read the higher boost, but the one's they received would read less than 4? They are shipping a new commander.

Sort of!!

Actually the diodes are there for overvoltage protection in the event someone actually plugged a sensor wire into something that is 12v. The protection will stop the over voltage from destroying the microprocessor or other things that do not ever need to touch more than 5v.

The problem is that they are working wonderful, so wonderful that anything over about 4v was getting shunted off.

So problem solved, now it is a pain for me to get a few thousand of them reworked!

Here's my experience with Quadzilla products:
'03: Installed Xzillaraider - ended up replacing harness, then box. Had many issues with stumbling, stalling, and cruise control surging. Still, loved the power band and performance, when it worked.
'06: Installed Commander, and upgraded my original Xzillaraider. Had to return Commander due to black screen and bad buttons. Then had to return Xzillaraider harness again (cant remember exact reason right now, so I'm not going to speculate....). Still have issues with buttons on Commander - can't even get into the menu screen anymore. I've tried cleaning the contacts, and that did help a little, but not to the degree that they SHOULD work. No, I havent tried getting it fixed again - as I've been holding out, hoping they would change the design of the buttons to something a more reliable. I have never owned an electronic product with this button style (ie., remote controls) that wouldnt function exactly as advertised. The explanation I was given from Quad on my first unit made sense, but the new one supposedly had a revised carbon contact in it to get rid of the problem. But still no worky....
So I've spent a bit of money just shipping products back to Texas for fixin'. Yes, they do have great customer service, but in my own personal experience, when compared to other products I have owned, maybe thier quality level requires great customer service. Also, IMHO, the power band and feel of the quad products is the best of any that I have run.

Quad - not trying to slam ya'll, but lehall was asking for our experience, and I hope I just portrayed my experience without being slanderous.
