How is your FASS wired to your battery?

Somehow the wiring harness of my FASS got tangled in my driveshaft & ripped out. Anyway, it was previously wired to each terminal of the battery, red wire to positive and green wire to ground, simple enough. So my new harnes arrives today and when I go to install it I notice there is only one wire to attach to the battery, the red one that goes to positive. What I did notice was that the green wire that formerly went directly to the ground terminal of the battery now was redirected in the wiring loom to the connection where the factory lift pump used to be connected. The difference is before the FASS would turn on when the key was turned on and would run constantly regardless of if the engine was running, just as long as the key was in the on position. I also hard hard starts. Now the FASS runs for one second when I turn the key to on and then stops, starts running again when the engine turns over. Hard starts are gone now. So, how are yours hooked up? One terminal connection or both? Does your FASS run constantly when the key is on or just when the engine runs? Thanks!

My older FASS 150/95 has a red and green wire connected to the battery like yours did and the harness plugs in at the factory plug for the lift pump. Mine operates just like a factory pump does, or as you described at the end of the post. Have never had hard starts, but the pump has failed to run for me three times at startup for whatever reason. Makes me watch my gauge.
