Dodge won't do anything about the 53 block unless it cracks during the warranty period.
Cummins has been known to try to help if it cracks after the warranty is up.

Nothing to get worried over. Less than 1% have reported failure. Most of those 1% were used for extreme towing or racing, and if not by the current owner, then previous owner.
Nothing at all to get worried over. If it happens it happens, till then tear it up.

Check your VIN. It's my understanding from reading many posts the past few years, that if your VIN begins with 1, you have a better chance of having a #53 block. The truck was assembled in St. Louis.
If it begins with 3, it was assembled in Mexico, and is less likely to have that block. FWIW.

Personally, I already have enough headaches in my life and dont have the time, shop, $$, or patience to deal with a cracked block, JMO.
