I'm bout to get rid of my banks and get either an x2 or an mp8 to eventually stack with a smarty. Which one though? I love quad and have heard a lot of good stuff about them. I would get the x2 over the mp8 without a doubt, but i've seen that a lot of people have been having problems getting the kinks worked out of the x2. What do yall think?

X2 seems to be working fine now that the server cache issues were worked out by Quad for the files.

From a stacking standpoint seems like the X2 is a great unit to stack with and its usb updateable.

I'll tell you this you'll probley get more use out of a X2 and yes the cache issue that they found and fixed now mines back too the begining and it is awsome now. Little issue took some time to find and fix but well worth it. Also too update are at your fingure tips no sending it in.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking, and I would much rather have the x2, I was really just checking to see if the kinks had been worked out yet

Got to test my x2 out today now that the file issues were resolved and man am I back to being happy.

Yes, it can be stacked with Jr. many are stacking with SR.

06mega Can you tell under normal driving that everything seems better now, my mileage is even up alittle as well. I kinda feel that everything got off a bit when it wouldn't load right. Did first big road test and things are back in check 600-700egts at 75 and up 2 1/2+ mpg better hwy not sure why but me likes.
Now I'm thinking just thinking of stacking w/JR??

Normal driving seems good for me now. Did a boost test tonight and truck didn't want to get much above 27psi though. I did load a bunch of sand bags in the bed for winter though lately and temps are cold and wet here. Truck idles awesome, accelerates well but still experimenting with boost fooling. I pulled the X2 off with bypass and will test the same stretch of highway tomorrow PM for boost fooling. I saw another thread about low boost issues lately for alot of people so I'm not convinced its an X2 issue. Code loads and verifys correct now for 12/25/07 SW. Mileage seemed up a little for me but I only have 11K miles and I keep putting my foot into it to test acceleration. Recon gauge is on the B-Day list for next month.

Something that is not up yet but, should be pretty quickly is also a tune that gives you 10-15PL's! Basically it just divides the power up over those power levels so that you can tune the truck in very small increments.

Just something to think about.

Sweet!! something more to play with. I taking this something already figure in the X2's from the beginning just needs an update to unlock per say.
