WOW! Some real rude service

I just tried calling and talking to diesel extreme in Billings Mt about installing a pacbrake on my pickup. I didnt know what time they opened and didnt leave a message (hate leaving messages to people I dont know). They said they didnt want my business because I called a couple times in a row, and didnt leave a message. What a bunch of douchebags. I want to do some ugrades to my truck in the next 12 mths and want to use one shop to do it. dieselxtreme.com will deffinetely not be getting my business.

rant over

Pretty crazy...though I can kinda understand where they are coming from...though they should have kept it to themselves.

I have 3 phone lines to answer here all by myself and often I am on the phone with a customer and someone will keep calling instead of leaving a message and waiting a callback.

What happens is the phone beeps in my ear and I have trouble trying to hear what is being said, especially when trying to get shipping addresses right or credit card numbers.....it can get quite annoying........still, I would NEVER have said that to a customer. They have NO idea you are sitting there already on the phone with someone else.

Larry, I called BEFORE they were opened. I wouldnt have kept calling back if their machine would have said what time they opened (I am not smart but I aint a retard).

I am sort of old school, I dont like emails, texts, I HATE ABSOLUTELY HATE leaving messages for people that I do not know, to me its awkward, and if I wanted to talk to a machine, I would just call a 1-900 sex hotline.

I think part of the reason people are hesitant to leave a message on an answering machine or voice mail is because a lot of people nowadays don't bother to call back anyway. I know it frustrates the heck outta ME and I can't be alone with that feeling. It's almost like, 'why bother' in the first place? You don't know if people have received your call or they're just being rude and not calling back.

As far as that company being rude to you... yeah, that's pretty rude. It's almost as if I worked there!

I second your motion on answering machines, most never call back!
