I cant read the diesel stop, they are so brand loyal and flat out rude makes me sick. people need to drive what they like .and as far as im concerned ALL 3 brands have issues that cost the owners .I drive Dodge because I like them I know them and there flaws.I like Chevy but prefer Dodge and even though Ford may build a good truck I will never own another one as a principal, because the last 3 were lemons and for me 3 strikes and your out. and you can find the same parts on all 3 .I work on all 3 so i get to see what fails.

I have a 99 F-350 that I love but the 7.3 lacks guts.
My 06 Dodge runs a lot stronger and smoother. Its stock right now so I can't wait to see what it does modified.

WOW!!! Did you guys read all the replys left by these "ford guys"? Bad enough the guy has a $23,000.00 repair bill but then gets bashed on the forum. Over the years I've owned about 15 diesel trucks, most Ford. I had so much trouble with them, especially the newer ones, that I knew I had to do something different. So I bought a Dodge/Cummins truck, never looked back (I've now owned 6, have 3 still). These Ford guys (of which I was once one), will never admit it but those trucks require a ton of maintenance to keep on the road. That's just a fact.

Oh dear, just read the OP post to hubby... I laughed from the pain...if it were me I'd say, 'just burn it to the ground'. DH agreed.

I have been a 1st and 2nd genner most my Diesel life. I saw a 07' Ford gasser the other day with the hood up and the radiator is tilted back at an angle. I thought they were working on it and here they are laid in there like that....one of Fords better ideas I suppose.
No way I would ever want to work on one of those trucks !

To bad...Fords are good looking trucks with though frames..They can't get those motor issues fixed..I've owned 3 fords..Two trucks and one car..All gas and all had problems with drive lines..
Opps...4 fords...My falcon....but thats old school motor..

I wanted to join and jump in to support this poor dude.
If someone was beat on like that here, I would be firing off on all cylinders...........
How many times do you have to tell them idiots "I take full responsibility"???????

The Ford superduty has the worst frame in the industry. Chevy held that honor till 2011.

I have a friend with a 6.4 that had a failure of the HP fuel pump. In his case they put in a whole new motor as the solution to the problem. Luckily it was under warranty.

Wow that site is something else. Guess they bash anyone who says anything negative about a ford as their wonderful motor do most of the bashing of a ford. It is almost worth signing up to post save you 20k and drop a cummins in it and never have to worry again.
