wore out engine mounts
My 1994 Ram 2500 4x4 auto has started vibrating on the highway and I need to fix the motor mounts. It looks like the only rubber in the mounting is two discs that sandwich the round metal part, because when I look at photos of motor mounts online they appear to be all metal. A solid metal part with no center bushing, and the rubber side discs don't seem to be included. Am I seeing this correctly? It looks to me like the getting the metal part in the photo would not do me any good, because the rubber wore out, not the metal. I would appreciate it if somebody would enlighten me about this.

Check out the Energy Suspension website, even if you dont go with them, at the bottom is a good description of changing the mounts in a Adobe document.
