Wobble in steering

I've got a 96 2500 4x4. In the last few days when I make a turn, it feels like the front end is wobbling, just like when you have it in 4 wheel drive and turn sharp. however, it is in 2 Hi, and I even crawled under the truck and the front driveshaft turns freely. It seems worst when making a left hand turn, but I can steel feel it in the steering wheel when making a left turn. When I'm driving straight it drives ok. Is is track bar? tie rod ends? ball joints? Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Mike

U joints binding?

Jack the front end up with the wheels turned left and rotate the tire by hand.
