wiring a 12 valve

wiring a 12 valve

how do i wirer a 1994 12 valve to start it befor i buy it . its in a fram it has no body but has fule tanke its a 5 spd i just want to see it run

all u need is fuel to the injector pump,and a way to crank the motor. u could hook up a jug with a line to the pump and gravity feed,and use some jumper cables on the starter to turn it over

uh.......I think you need to get power to the fuel shut off solenoid,

You can hold the solenoid up by hand, or wire tie it, but yes you need to either open it or bypass it.

Yep, duct tape and baling wire are your friends..........

Pull the lever up and spin her over, she will fire off if there is fuel.

Until I installed a push-pull cable I carried a small piece of 2X4 in my truck that was the exact size needed to hold the fuel solenoid up. Worked like a charm the times the solenoid puked out.

I'd much rather just remove two small bolts and pull the shut off solenoid out than mess with bailing wire or duct tape.

I must have too big of hands then. I get cut up pretty good trying to pull my solenoid.......
