'98 one ton quad cab. I filled the washer tank and its empty the next morning, pulled the tank and can not tell where its leaking,is it the rubber grommets or the pump?...anybody have this problem before?.......thanks...Larry

The seam on the side of mine developed a crack. I sealed it, about 4 years ago, with a hightemp RTV and have not had any more problems.

U might also wanna look where the hose is

Mine was exposed to the heat so long, that the washer fluid just spilled right out when i tried to pull the hose off from the little connector to the jug. IE i need a washer fluid holder...

The seam on mine also opened up. I degrease it, sanded it open a little more and filled it with 2 part expoxy. This happened in 1999. No leakes since.

This must be a common problem because I have heard about it more than once. Mine also leaks and the only reason I havent bothered to fix it is I dont see there being anyway to remove the tank unless I unhook the radiator hose first.

Mine has leaked for several years and since I was repositioning the Turbo hose I had to take the tank out anyway....clamp bolt is pointed toward inner fender right under pump. not any more !!!

Mine has a crack on the back side of the tank, almost like a cut from rubbing against something sharp. I can't find anything to cause that. It's just below the low fluid sensor.

I couldn't get pressure against those little buttons to release the tank. Finally used two pieces of 1/16 flat stock and drove them down from the top.
Think I'll try Crobtex's RTV fix.

My washer tank is on the drivers side and is clearly obstructed by a radiator hose.

Mine is too, the hose from the intercooler is below the tank and my boot was about to come off, that is what I was referring to relocating the clamp on.
