windsheild wiper problems

I have a 2001 3500, and the wipers will just stop on me mid stoke. some times they will work for a long time with no problems and some times they act up for miles. I checked the local parts place for a relay and they had none listed. I figured it may be digatal and controled by one of the computers. Any ideas, would be great.
Thanks

most likely you have the same issue i had...weak wiper motor...nothing to do with controls, mine would not work when i turned them on but if i left them on out of nowhere they would eventually get the power to turn the blades. went to the dealer and got the replacement motor with all new arms attached for $140 (not cheap i know) and took me 30 minutes to bolt it in and put it back together and they work just fine.

Park switch is in the wiper motor. You're going to need a new one. You can buy the whole assy, or if you are handy, I've made one from a Plymouth Sundance work.
