the windows were working on the truck and then we noticed that they stopped working a couple days ago. we checked the fuses and they were fine. any ideas on what happened or how to fix the problem?

 

Check your fusible links, then your wiring/switches

The 93 I used to have had a mechanical issue and the window was stuck all the way open. I had to take the door panel off and put the window back on the track and weld a stop in the gear that controls window movement.

 

My power window problem turned out to be a faulty switch, ...

 

Check the wiring between the door and jamb also, very common for them to break in there
