Just wanted everyone to remember that the wind noise/leaks in your doors doesn't have to be weatherstripping. I had terrible wind noise on the front doors. Looked at the alignment with the rest of the body and figured a little adjustment was in order. Scribed lines around the existing setting, bumped the front door catches in and also the lower quad door catches. Immediate results. Doors closed more solidly, body lines looked MUCH better, and absolutely no wind noises.
Looks like I can write off getting new weatherstripping. It looked to be in superb condition anyway!

Feels great that such a little adjustment did so much.

By the way, took less than ten minutes for all four doors......

See note below, I checked the door hinges and bushings first to be sure the problem didn't lie there.

I need to try that, my driver's side had bad wind noise, I just added a thin foam strip all around, but I have to slam it to get it to shut all the way. So you adjusted the catch in, so to latch it holds it in tighter?

Yep. I only moved my strikers. The move was at most an 1/8th inch, but what a difference! I moved them little by little. I didn't make one big move, I wanted to see what occured at each move so I didn't go too far and hurt something. As an added precaution, I kept my windows down so they wouldn't be flexed if I accidentally moved too far.

I looked at that too until I started reading about the door hinges. Reworked the upper hinges and the doors close nice & tight again.

Good point about the door hinges. I should have mentioned that first. I checked bushings and overall wear before I adjusted the strikers. Per your note, I'll edit my original post to include this. Thanks!

There is another post on here where a guy used a piece of 1 by to force the hinge back where it should be by closing it in the door. The hinges sometimes get out of whack when the wind catches the door, or as in my case the spring is gone so everytime I open the door it flies all the way open if I don't catch it overextending the hinge.

Mine is cracked bad. I actually welded a washer to hold it in one place, it has lasted a while. I took two door bushings and spaced the striker(?) the part on the body towards the engine. It was a total pita until I got smart and did that...actually I was so ****** when I could never get it to work right, I threw my screw driver and it landed in the other seat where the extra bushings were and a little light went on in my head.
