I know I am probably asking this in the wrong forum but here goes. What do you guys recommend for winch bumpers? I would prefer aluminum to save some weight, but will consider all options. My stock piece became a victim of a big dog.

I am also thinking about another stock bumper and Warn's Trans4mer system with a reciever for a multimount.

Fire away....

Thanks!!!

Denver Off Road. Functional, light, and a work of art ;D

I couldn't agree more. I love the Denver Offroad bumpers, I know a hand full of guys that have them and I've heard nothing but praise.

I also like the Spanky's Bush Push which you can find at www.wildcatdiesel.com

I had the Warn Trans4mer set up for a while and I really liked it. It looks good on the truck and it's versatile. You can add, remove, exchange parts to suite your needs. I had a 12k lb Mile Marker winch set up and I also had the front receiver which can come in handy.

Hope this helps,
Ryan

Thanks for the tips, I do like the DOR bumpers. Have you really put it to the test? How did it fare? Any negative effects on airflow to the front of our beasts?

How big of a winch can I go with the DOR?

I guess I'll have to finally lift the front a few inches too.

Thanks in advance!

Fishin
I haven't noticed any increase in coolant temp with mine. It actually sits a couple inches higher than the stock bumper or should I say doesn't hang as low. I think Layne told me it would hold a 15000lb warn. If you want to lift the vehicle it wont be because of the DOR bumper that is unless you need excuses.
