*****'s Whistler Filter Cleaning
Anyone else having trouble cleaning the Amsoil filter used on the Whistler intake? I love the intake and set up, but the filters get pricey. I bought the Outerwear cover for it too, which helped. I tried to blow it from the inside out with an airhose, but not much came off of it.
What's everyone else doing?

just blow it out with 15-20psi of shop air, or vacuum with a shop vac......
the filter will never be brite blue like when new. I have cleaned mine 2x now worked fine for me and i'm still not running a pre filter.
if you want to run a different filter you could use the AFE dry or oiled, but they will get dirty just as fast.........
hope your not throwing away your filter all ready?? I cant imagine having to need a new filter all ready, they should last atleast a year if not way more then that.
