today i got the code P0514 Battery Temperature Sensor Performance / Rationality. anyone know what this means. i was kinda cold here could that be causing it? i cleared it with the bddl and it hasnt come back yet. thanks justin

I read were the acid from the batt. can cause problums , get under the wires / connectors and see if there is any carossion is there.

The batt temp sensor rationality code has come up many times on many trucks (mine included - used my OBD II reader to clear the code, never came back). I believe there is a fix, replace the sensor. Do a search on that code, someone posted a reason for the code recuring and what the solution was. I don't think its a corrosion issue.
