Which way to go?
Well, I'm ready to start bombing. I have added gauges and now have a bench mark of the readings. I would like ya'lls opinions on where to start. Would you put a fuel plate in, or bigger injectors? I am going to put in the AFE air filter set up in so it can breath better. I don't want race car, but something with more low end power. I have not touched the star wheel yet. The muffler and cat. have been removed and a glass pack installed. The clutch is stock, so I want it to last as long as possible, after it fails, I will probably install a Southbend. Any opinions would be gretly appreciated.
Thanks,
Darrin

Number 11 fuel plate from TST and hold on ;D Bump the timing to 16.5 degrees. I liked the 16CM housing for the hx35 on mine. That combo gave me an honest 20MPG at 70 MPH on the highway. It dynoed around 340 -350 like that. Really nice combo and cheap.

Get your AFE intake air system, see how that does. Then go from there, which would most likly lead to a new plate. Do a little homework, better yet dail-up TST, and get Marks recomendation.

Add a 3K Gov Spring Kit to that #11 plate and timing and get ready to bang some gears with that stick! Mine pulls hard to 3200 RPM. Haven't revved it higher than that. EGT's are managable.
