Which Turbo?

ive have 370 injectors, high flow dv's, the pumps turned up, i have head studs, and im looking for a godo turbo to cool my egt's. im trying to decide weither to go with a phat shaft 64, or a 62. Or is there some other turbo i should go with?

both are good choices. You tow or load the truck heavy? How loose is the converter? What's you power limit? The turbo choice for a p pump truck is a bit more trick as everyone set-up the pump a bit differently. You daily drive the rig and any stop and go traffic.

if you can deal with a slightly slower spoolup it is worth it going with a sps62 or one of htts turbos with a 71mm turbine wheel. i think htt calls it a low drive pressure wheel, but it will keep egts under control.

I liked my garrett 3782R/3B twins. It spools now and flows more of air than the my old HX-40/3b combo and doesn't have the choking off issue that it had. For a P pump truck running lots of advance and fuel, the 3788r or the 4088r is a good choice. Its about the same money and you'll have tons of turbo for future moding. We (our local diesel chapter) have a couple P pump trucks running different S300 turbos and each truck is around the 400 to 450 hp range. Some have high egt's, some don't. If you have tons of fuel and work the truck go bigger on the turbo. I like pushing the fuel/air barrier, so I have abit of smoke until the turbos are fully lite, so I like bigger turbo than smaller, but that gets to be an issue in stop and go fender to bumper traffic.
